Will you help us protect killer whales in the wild?
Just like doctors keep your health records updated, we're working with our colleagues to do the same for Southern Resident killer whales in Puget Sound by compiling a unique scientific health database. That way, we can track individual whale health and determine how to best protect this endangered population of animals. You can read more about the groundbreaking work getting national media attention here, which is being conducted with the SeaDoc Society and NOAA.
It's a great example of the kind of innovative conservation research being conducted all the time by the National Marine Mammal Foundation. And you can be a part of it! Please consider joining our killer whale conservation team by making a donation now. Every dollar donated will improve our ability to build meaningful health records for the 84 Southern Resident killer whales that are alive today. Together, we can make a difference.

"On behalf of all of us at the National Marine Mammal Foundation and the animals we're working to protect, thank you for your continued support."
